At the Active Living Academy we pride ourselves on being the driving force in giving opportunities to our Active Living participants who are within the ages of 12 to 25. We operate by creating a pathway for disabled people to achieve success as top athletes and to ultimately become Great Britain’s Paralympians of the future.
However, despite the lack of resources and insufficient recognition given to young disabled athletes, we make it our mission to fill this gap; especially with 2012 on our doorstep. Let's give these talented individuals the opportunity to shine. Let's show them that we recognise that a disability doesn’t restrict them from living an active and healthy lifestyle and give them the chance to succeed and train towards reaching their personal fitness goals.
With Active Living working together with disabled sports governing bodies, leading health clubs, local recreation centres and athletic tracks, we can create a suitable and comfortable environment for our potential athletes to succeed and develop into top sports people.
With many talented young disabled sports people within the UK unable to fulfil their full potential, why not help us, help them?
