Rosie celebrates 20 years of Yoga teaching
Hello! My name is Rosie. I’m 62 years old and I have taught Hatha Yoga at a range of health clubs across London. I qualified as a yoga instructor in 1987, so this is my 20th anniversary year!

Anyone can practice yoga, no matter how old you may be! Many of my regular students are in their seventies, and my oldest yoga student is a wonderful 85-year-old gentleman. You don't need any special equipment or clothing - just a desire for a healthier life and a fitter body. Yoga poses exercise every part of the body, stretching and toning the muscles and joints, spine and the entire skeletal system. The breathing exercises revitalise the body, leaving you feeling calm and refreshed.
In recent years, medical research has begun to pay attention to the effects of yoga. Studies have shown, for example, that the relaxation poses can relieve high blood pressure, and that the regular practice of yoga can help conditions such as arthritis, chronic fatigue, asthma and some heart conditions.

To understand what yoga is all about, you need to experience it for yourself. The classes are short and informal, and have been put together with you in mind. With regular practice you will, in time, enjoy the benefits of a stronger, fitter body and a relaxed state of mind.

I look forward to seeing you in my yoga class soon!
